meet Moira Dempsey
Infant Reflexes Teacher Trainer
Moira Dempsey trained in Kinesiology in the 1990s and has been learning and teaching about primitive infant reflexes worldwide since the mid-1990s. She is the founder of Rhythmic Movement Training International (RMTi), which she set up to spread the idea of the importance of integrating developmental reflexes to help with learning difficulties. Since 2011 she has developed all the course information and materials used. Prior to this she was the co-developer of the original RMT materials. She teaches RMTi courses extensively worldwide. Moira received outstanding achievement awards from the Educational Kinesiology Foundation in 2000 and 2005; she also received a special award in 2012 honouring her many years of service to Brain Gym® worldwide. In 2009 she received the Humanitarian Award from the Australian Kinesiology Association for her work in Asia after the 2004 Tsunami. Moira is the author of ‘Beyond the Sea Squirt: A Journey with Reflexes’, published in 2019, and co-author of the book ‘Movements That Heal’, published in 2010.
