meet Giselle E. Whitwell
Prenatal Therapist
Giselle E. Whitwell holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in piano and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Spanish Linguistics. She was an AMTA (American Music Therapy Association) certified music therapist and holds a diploma from the School of Uncovering the Voice as an anthroposophic therapeutic singer.
Giselle has also trained as a doula and childbirth educator, as well as in pre-and perinatal psychology. All these fields have contributed to her pioneering work in prenatal music, a practice she has pursued for over 30 years. She has traveled extensively to participate in conferences and give talks on pre-and perinatal music therapy across South America, Canada, Europe, Russia, and Asia. Previously, she worked as a music educator for more than 20 years. She currently continues to work with expectant couples in Austin, Texas, USA.
