meet Daia Brunetto
Curandeira and Birth Keeper
Daia Brunetto is a Curandeira and Guardian of the sacred cycle from Birth to Matrescence. Daia is devoted to walking alongside women and families as they move through one of life’s most transformative thresholds.
Blending her training in Naturology with the art of authentic midwifery, she offers holistic, nature-rooted care from conception through postpartum and beyond. Daia’s work is grounded in trust — in the body’s wisdom, in the impeccable intelligence of birth, and in each family’s right to reclaim sovereignty in how they live and bring life into the world. “I’m here as a witness and a space holder, holding sacred presence for the full spectrum of your journey, from tender vulnerability to fierce empowerment.”
“My hands are at the heart of my practice. Through touch, somatic bodywork, the Rebozo, and Earth medicines, I offer deeply attuned and intuitive care. I hold workshops and ceremonies including La Cerrada, the traditional Mexican Closing of the Bones ritual, honouring its lineage and teachings. This powerful postpartum ceremony celebrates, nourishes and gently closes the body in all its dimensions, while also supporting women in integrating and healing their birth and motherhood experiences.”
Daia is both a devoted student and a mentor in the transmission of healing wisdom through hands and medicinal plants. She is a lover of nature, a dancer, a writer and an alchemist at heart. “I find joy in preparing nourishing foods, crafting herbal medicines, and tending to women with presence and devotion. I am here to serve you as a sister, as a woman, and as a guide — honouring ancestral wisdom and offering my whole heart to this sacred path.”
