This talk is a discussion with Rhey Dempsey on the cultural mindset in regard to pain in birth, reframing pain in labour, crisis of confidence moments, and the quality of support that is offered and received.
Rhea is an Educator, Trainer, Doula, Counsellor, Speaker, Author and Birth Activist. She is the author of ‘Birth with Confidence: Savvy Choices for Normal Birth’ and ‘Beyond the Birth Plan: Getting Real About Pain and Power’.
