Part 2

with Alexandra Heath
Monday, 2 June 2025 at 19h UK time
Following on from defining what perinatal depression is and what its drivers are in class one, this time, we will seek to understand the current diagnostic tools and treatments available to parents.

We will also address effective approaches for support and recovery that can be shared by perinatal professionals. In particular we will look at the core concepts of compassionate mindfulness and how this can bring relief, hope and peace to parents experiencing low mood and depression.

A closer look at the role of perinatal trauma in postnatal depression will help us understand the value of treating trauma symptoms as an effective, gentle and straight forward way of resolving depression in many cases.
