Mothers and babies are exposed to an array of environmental toxins that were not around 100 years ago. Some of these influences include:

  • antidepressants used during pregnancy or other pharmacological drugs
  • plastics 
  • household chemicals
  • ultrasounds
  • antibiotics
  • herbicides and Pesticides
  • tap water
  • synthetic oxytocin
  • pain relief during labour
